NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering)
At the forefront of higher education innovation, NMITE is the UK’s newest university, offering hands-on, accelerated degrees that prepare students for immediate impact in the workplace.
Courses include: BSc Integrated Engineering, BEng Mechanical Engineering and BSc (Hons) Construction Management. Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College (HLNSC) plays a major role in regional workforce development.

The National School of Blacksmithing at Holme Lacy College focuses on training in traditional and modern forging techniques and farriery programmes combining craftsmanship with animal care expertise. The Low Carbon Technology Training Centre (LCTTC) is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to sustainable building practices. Courses held at the LCTTC include solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage and air source heat pumps (ASHP) and low temperature hot water heating systems.
